with Mxsie.
These notes cover the Android preview. Start with the first-song guide or check what this version includes.
The microphone or interface is missing
Open Audio setup and check the inputs Android exposes. Allow microphone permission when you choose to record. Reconnect a USB device only while stopped, and check its cable and power requirements. See the USB interface guide.
The new take sounds late
Check the selected headphone output and the timing settings for that route. Bluetooth delay can vary. Try wired or interface headphones, then make a short alignment check before another long take. A route change can invalidate an earlier timing measurement.
Where are my songs?
Projects live in Mxsie’s private app storage. Exported WAVs go to the location you select. Uninstalling the app removes its private projects. Export important work before changing installations; a differently signed debug build cannot be installed as an ordinary update over the signed preview.
Can I buy Full or Cloud?
Not yet. The announced plans are $10 once for Full and $10/month for Cloud. Checkout is closed. Android Wi-Fi pairing, hosted collaboration and the other platform interfaces remain in development.
Reporting a preview issue
Include the app version, phone model, Android version, selected input/output and steps that reproduce the problem. For a USB setup, include the exact interface and power arrangement. Keep recordings private unless you explicitly choose to share a small example.
